Hey folks! First post! I’ve got a wonderfully restored Marantz 6300 (thanks to restoration sound in NC) paired with a 1060 amp and playing through Sansui SPX-9000 speakers. Recently, I picked up an extra head shell that came with a really clean Grado G2 cartridge sans stylus. Any recommendations for that stylus? Lots of people seem high on the 8MZ, but I was hoping for some additional insight.
FWIW, I’m looking for a stylus that compliments, not imitates, my Denon DL-110 and Nagaoka MP-20. I listen to a mix of jazz, blues, punk, classic, and indie rock ... and am AOK with honing in on a cartridge that works well with one style over another.
