Subscriber membership. What is it and how do you become one

will my subscription auto-renew?
if so: is there a way to prevent this?
and, is there a way to cancel now?
i don't see these options anywhere

Probably could "cancel" now with a request to Admin/Moderation, but far as I know there is no refund/prorating, if that's a concern.

Also, just so ya know......

The reason you've been a "New Member" for 10 years is that the software counts posts, and not elapsed time since you've joined the site, in determining what your user title will be. Once you reach a certain number of posts (and no, I do not know what that number is) it'll change ;)

Again, I'm just kidding but I would like to know if I was censored or if it was just a screwup on my part, or my connection and I failed to post properly.

Well, well here I am subscribed.
Y'all might regret your policy about requiring a set numbers of posts to aggregate seniority. I'm recently unemployed and may have much time on my hands.
You may reminisce in the future about how psylocyber stayed quietly in the background, only emerging every year or so. Oh, how peaceful it was then.
Some think a quiet psylocyber is a good psylocyber.
I'm just kidding but I do have too much energy without work.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't think I was being any of those things, but I'm often wrong about how I'm perceived in text format conversations. I apologize and will try to be better. But I'm fallible in the extreme.

Your join date was Jan 13, 2025, per your profile. If you paid right when you joined, then it expired 2 days ago. If you need a more precise answer, a staff member can help you with that.

If you were a Subscriber and now no longer are through no decision of your own, your subscription has expired and best I can recall AK sends no notice when this is going to happen. I usually find out the day mine expires and ads are on all the web pages when I log on.
