We recently moved from a home with a small living room to one with a huge open living room/kitchen/dining room (28 feet by 25 feet, ceilings around 8 feet.)
This is my system (music no HT):
* McIntosh 2105 amp
* McIntosh C26 pre-amp
* Rega P3 turntable
* PSB Image T5 speakers
We listen to rock and jazz mostly. Almost all vinyl. Mostly at fairly low volume.
As seen on a previous thread, I was considering upgrading to larger speakers. But others suggested I go for a subwoofer instead. After improving the sound somewhat by experimenting with speaker location, I think that's a good path to take. I certainly don't need more volume, I just need to feel that room is "filled" a bit more. I'd like to spend around $500-$750 on a subwoofer. Can you please suggest the one to get?
