Found these Saturday at a church yard sale. An original Scott 299 integrated and a Scott 350 tuner. The amp has all original tubes (I think).

It must have been a console pull since they are in such nice condition. Not a scratch or blemish and they included original manuals.

I have not powered them up. I will look around for a good tech to bring them to their original specs and then find nice cases for them. I love the look of the vintage HH Scott.

I grabbed the Koss Pro 4aaa phones at the same time for 3 bucks. Funny thing is, Scott did not add a phone jack to the integrated until the later Type 299 versions.

Fun Labor Day weekend for me.

Here a couple nudies of the Type 350 tuner. Most tube are marked HH Scott and Telefunken or Gt. Britain (Mullard?).

Very nice, thanks! Look extremely well kept. I'd be sorely tempted to plug them in and try them out, variac and dim bulb tester notwithstanding.
 
me too. 299B. Just put in new coupling caps and FWB SS rect. in place of the selenium rect.
Can caps next.

Looks like you are missing a couple of tube shields on the 2 tubes next to the tuning capacitor (aluminum box).
 
The 7189 in the foreground looks like a possible Mullard, although I don't see the glass seams. But the Raytheon behind it has a different plate structure, and it appears there's a printed box pictured on the upper left of the tube, which makes me wonder.

My 299 has the same 6BL8's and also came with Funken ribbed 12AX7's which were all Tele factory labeled, no Scott logo. Does yours have a GE copper-plate 5AR4?
 
Also, you mention 7189A, I think the Scotts take regular 7189's. Without looking at the base connections on my 299 schematic, I believe 7189A's are not compatible due to pin-out differences.

Ferninando: How's that SS rectifier working out?

In my experience, Scotts of that era respond very nicely to a doubling or tripling of the value of all of the audio coupling caps. Much nicer bass. It won't be 'stock' but it'll be sweet.
 
Looks like someone swapped out the knobs on the 299. It has the later metal knobs used on the 299B.

As long as HH Scott wasn't incompetently lazy, using the empty pin 1 and 6 connections as tie points, 7189A will work just fine in place of 7189.
