Switches- best lubricant - home made.

Push pull switches.
When servicing can anyone advise on best lubricant for these switches in vintage amps.
Ideally, a homemade recipe as I just need to disassemble and regrease one switch.
Can petroleum jelly be used?

I’m going with PJ not being a good choice. If the switch gets warm it will thin out and run. I’d use some automotive bearing grease like a lithium. Can handle heat better.
You’ll definitely get other suggestions you might like better.

Also wondering whether the grease needs to especially be conductive or non-conductive?

FWIW I've been using Deoxit Fader Grease on some switches just because I have some - hopefully it's ok. It is really nice grease and has a great consistency. It makes the switches on my Sansui have a really smooth positive feel and snap to them. We'll see over time.

I’d use white lithium grease if it was my project.
