SX-1010 amp board recap question

Hey all, i am working my way thru a working Pioneer SX-1010 rebuild. Anyway there is the one tiny .68uf electrolytic on each driver board. I pulled one and it measures 1.2uf currently. So my question is: “can i safely use a 1uf Wima cap in it’s place?”. I am only asking because i currently have zero .68uf caps at home! Lol..

Why not. C1 is part of a high-pass filter with R3. You could even jumper it and never notice the difference. C2 can also be 1.0 µF WIMA. I like them but I usually leave 'lytics in place unless they show up in measurements. Square wave signal is very telling. Do think about D5-6, these multidiodes can go phut and if they do it destroys your output transistors. Replace with strings of 1N4148 or a single V(be) multiplier (3.6 V).
