Hi folks,
I am a brand new member and have just acquired an SX-1280. The unit works ok but has a couple broken tone control shafts an I am hoping someone can help point me in the right direction to get them replaced. Do any of you have the Bass 50hz ACW-101(ACV-165) and the Treble 10khz ACW-103(ACV-167)?
Thanks in advance for any info!

when they do sell, they are very pricey, years ago they were 35 bucks each, now ???
even ebay sold listings come up dry...

Beware, there are automated web bot sellers that list Pioneer part numbers in stock (and sometimes take your money) and then weeks later admit defeat.

Thanks Mark, I was afraid of that based on the frajile nature of the shafts on these units. after 45ish years I am sure a lot of folks have had to replace broken knobs and switches using up everthing available. Lucky for me mine isn't broken clean off and still has half the shaft to work with. If you or anyone else has a good repair for these I am all ears or, eyes in this case.

Oh and thanks for the heads up on the BOTS. I did see some sites with the part number listed.

Does anyone have a shaft off of a similar unit that I could buy? I hope to find one that's in an inoperable component that has a shaft that will match so I don't have to distroy a good piece of hardware to repair mine.
