Hey guys, I just got my first system about a week and a half ago.. the SX-650. I have a concern regarding the bulbs though. If one of the bulbs were to go out, where would I be able to find replacements? Thanks in advance.

AK member dwojo. He has all the bulbs you'll ever need for these vintage recievers.

PS- what do your SX 650's bulbs look like?

Mine look like this:

Do I see correctly that the bulb shown in the pic that's still plugged in the light diffuser has a blue cover on it? Trying for that "flouroscan" look, are we? I think a pic of a blue lighted 650 would be interesting . . . I've seen these rubber covers for mini-sized bulbs like in my Yamaha CR-640 (green, in that case), but wasn't aware they might be available for the large bulbs. Interesting.

I tried the blue in the SX-3900, but didn't like it. Looked too sterile, IMHO. Everything was blue, no contrast. It works nicely on the SX-650, though. Don't have pics, sadly. Here's what it looked like on the SX-3900:
