SX 780 Repair help.

Do the above task.
See if the relay will engage.
The emitters are the big white ceramic resistors near the modules. They should show around .800 ohms or so.
The forum assumes you do some research on your own.
There are hundreds of past posts on this issue. Search google, for an example: "Pioneer sx-780 modules blown Audiokarma".

Great thank you. I re installed the working unit without the other unit and I get sound on one side just fine. I need to fix the other side now and like I said I am not comfortable making a new stk 0050 from parts. But I am looking for a working replacement unit. I have been on google and all over the place looking for working replacement ones but that has been tough. I saw the thread on how to make them but didn't really understand it. Like I said complete noob.

Those are fake Darlingtons and they are both bad with those readings. You either need to find original packs or build you own, detailed instructions with parts list two posts back.
