SX-950 1050 1250 Selector Switch Assembly rebuild

I personally just soak these in Deoxit. There's a little hole on the top--just blast it in through there and work it a bunch of times.

I did end up deoxing the 1050 switches and it eliminated the problem. Now my 950 needs the same treatment. I bought an extra board with switches just in case I fined they are completely worn out which is known to happen on high time machines.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread.

I am currently working on my SX 950 and have found the same issue with my phono selector switches. I don't have any problem with any of the other input selectors, just the phono. When I hold them in (or hold them both in and they stay activated) I don't have any problem with getting full strength audio to both channels. I have bathed them liberally in Deoxit and activated them hundreds of times to no avail. It almost feels like the spring mechanism that deactivates the other sources bounces the selector switch slightly too far. Has anyone had any luck with somehow adjusting that mechanism or is it time to buy an old board and replace from there?
