Can I use the receiver in the mean time until the replacement for C24 comes in?

Do the same for the left channel, too.
If it was mine I would order some of 1µF and 2.2µF film caps and replace all of the electrolytics of those values in the signal path in the whole unit (I did in my SX-1050) 505-MKS22.2/50/5 for 2.2µF 50v 5%, and 80-R82DC4100Z360J for 1µF 63v 5%. There are a couple of 4.7µF caps at the input to the power amp also, 505-MKS2B044701K00JS (C1, C2)
Just updating to say I replaced C23 and C24 last night. No more dc resistance, and everything works. We are back in business! A big thanks for everyone’s help. This is a good forum
