Taking the Vinyl Plunge - What is YOUR Table Recommendation

I have a copy of that but it's trashed & noisy. I still listen to it

to the OP: a new Technics 1200 would be my choice. There's nothing worse than getting into vinyl & dealing with the frustration of old broken equipment.

You can always buy old broken equipment later and waste your time on it, while listening to your new 1200
 
That's interesting. My 5.7 lb. LP60X sat on a 4-tier audio rack and had no picking up vibration issues. If your friend knows, what was the source of the vibrations that were causing the problem?
He believes it was his two SVS subwoofers being too close to his audio rack- he bought a heavy Butcher Block Acoustics rack and it solved the issue.
