Tangent 30

Are klipsch tangent 30 worth $100 for the pair.the ad states cosmetically they are 8.5 -9 and functionally a 10. In walnut.

I had the big brother Tangent 50's and didn't care for them much. The 50's have triple woofs and a passive radiator on the back. Bass was adequate but I could not tame the highs. May have needed new caps in the crossovers. I didn't keep them long enough to find out.

That being said... the are efficient as hell and will get stupid loud with a modest receiver.

I don't think I would pay that much for them however.

The Tangent line only lasted a couple of years. There is probablly a reason for that :scratch2:
