Tannoy Arden Mk2 drivers in a Mk1 cabinet

So I have these Tannoy 3828 drivers in a set of huge custom cabinets. They're nice enough, but just way too big for my office. So I've been looking for a while for some Mk2 cabinets to put my drivers into - but I only see Mk 1 cabinets coming available.
So, just wondering - has anyone here ever installed the newer angular drivers into the recessed round-hole cabinets? Or am I looking at doing a bunch of woodworking to make it happen?
