Tannoy T145

Hi guys, I can pick up a pair of tannoy T145s locally for €150.

I haven't heard them yet.

Any of you guys familiar with the sound? And what about the price? And lastly, how do they compare vs the best speakers I currently own: kef q5?

That seems like a good deal. These contain 10" duplex Tannoy drivers. I see several examples of people asking in the $900 range for a pair. They're rare so it's tough to judge what they could be sold for in the open market.

Listen to them, you may like what you hear. Your KEF speakers will probably outshine them in the low range.

That much?! Than I don't even have to listen... :-D

I intend to use them in the office where I currently have some old Bose 301s my dad gave me once. So in that area it should be an improvement anyways.

I'll try to make an appointment tonight.

Any particular things to look at?
