Teac A 4010s only recording on left channel (Ra-40s amp)

I recently recapped all the .1uf Suzuki "bombs" in my Teac a 4010s and got the deck up and running. Thought I was in the clear til I went to record something and only the left channel was working. I opened up the transport again to find the front of the two stop switches (the ones activated by the capstan solenoid valve/capstan assembly when stopped) to be disconnected. I reconnected that and got more consistent recording on the left channel but still nothing on the right channel. Does anyone have any tips and where I should try to troubleshoot next? Amp serial number is K/4666

I'm not a tech but you can try removing the plastic covers and cleaning the relays. I used doubled up Kimwipes soaked with some contact cleaner.

Before you attempt to clean the relay (which many members have reported as a temporary solution), you might just give it good twack with your fingers, then test again. No harm in twacking it while in operation. If this changes behavior, then the relay is suspect. Replacement is recommended, but honestly, I got mine working this way, and it's been fine since :)
