Is the TEAC V-3000 a good cassette deck? Saw one at the thrift store for ten bucks. It's clean and works.

Jan, are you familar with a Sony model, TC-K850ES? I could pick one of those up pretty cheap and it's in great shape.

well - quess a congratulation with the V-3000 deck is in place here 
- about the Sony - no, never had such one in front of me, but the big Sony's are usually pretty good decks. (of course the condition do matter - they get worn like everything else)
