Teac X300 Motors

Are the motors used in the Teac X300 sealed for life,or do they need any lubrication?.There appears to be tubes from the reel motors but these would seem to be hidden behind the reel tables. I would hate for them to seize up.

Put 2-3 drops of light machine oil in those small clear tubes (each motor has 2 )
