teac x3r problem motors

My reel to reel teac X3R suddenly no longer rewinds the reel
engines look weak
Having changed all the capacitors, resistors on the control board
the problem persists, I checked all the transistors and are good.
So I decide to replace all the components in the power board but I have
solved the problem
I ask you if you ever had a similar problem and how you solved

Your english is fine. It's the translator that is bad. No apologies needed.

Did you change the motor capacitors? Most times when the motors look weak it's the capacitors for the motor themselves. I've had an AKAI and a TEAC where the same problem existed and I changed the motor capacitors. No more problem.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the X-series Teacs are prone to motor failure.

However, if it happened all of the sudden, there is a good chance it is something else. Check the capacitors like Larry suggested above.

Good luck on fixing it, I really liked mine (I sold it earlier this year. I'm regretting it now).

HOW HOT are the motors when this happens. Does it happen when you first turn it on? Or does it do it after it warms up?

I was working on a A 4000 that did the same thing. The motor caps were bad. Don't use regular electrolytics, not enough power in them. You need a motor capacitor.

If you have used a motor capacitor, and it still does this, then the motor has windings in it that are heat stressed and will break down when warmed up, causing the motor to lose strength. Can you take a picture of the back of the unit with the motors and the capacitors in the picture?

Correct. I was about to say the same thing. DC motors do not use motor run capacitors.

Most of the time when a DC motor fails, it is the commutator (ie. the brushes) that are at fault. Unfortunately these motor were not designed to be taken-apart as serviced. But I suspect that some people have probably opened these up and serviced them anyways.

When was the last time the Motor shaft bearings were cleaned and lubed. If they are drying out, when they heat up, they will start binding and slow down, and eventually stop. Clean and lube the shaft bearings, and test.
 
Quite right about the phase shift caps on the reel motors.
I just acquired one of these decks stupid cheap with no capsan drive. Ordering a belt.
 
This one appears lightly used, so I assume lots of life left in the capstan motor.
Plan to lube pulley end bearing while in the deck anyway. No gummed bushings or wear apparent anywhere so far.
