AFAIK direct drive, semi-automatic.
That's even better in a CEC, my wife has a CEC Harksound 210 ( belt drive ) with a Shure M 75HE type2 cartridge.
Very good sounding home entertainment turntable.
Go for it!

AFAIK direct drive, semi-automatic.

Thanks guys but I called and they said they won't have TTs tested / cataloged until this coming Tuesday.
@KrisM I'm not too sure. I believe they're just a consignment store located in Calgary called AllSold (link).
I saw that you picked up a table, congrats! But I thought I'd add that there are bunch of tables being sold in Lethbridge that might be worth looking at, if you are up for a road trip. I got an email response, and although I didn't get all of the model numbers, there were a couple of nice Sony models listed. They might be worth grabbing if the price is decent.
I'm not affiliated with the seller, for the record.
Condition: Used. Spins, but unable to get sound (Could be user error)
KrisM said:I don't have any plans to get down to Lethbridge, ever, I think, but you never know. My wife's son got us an Alberta museum/park family pass for X-mas, and we'll be using it this summer. Maybe a trip to see some dinosaurs or museums will net me another table. The guy didn't want to communicate by email, but he did offer up some model numbers. They were mixed up, so maybe he doesn't know what he has.
Thanks for the link. I don't see anything that I'm interested in, but I'm going to keep my eye on their site. Sales that say things like "unable to get sound" can be score in the making.
How are you enjoying your table?
Just for the record, (I don't think it has been mentioned previously) also when looking for audio stufff try www.usedcalgary.com, http://calgary.en.craigslist.ca/ and their 'neighbours'
Search for 'turntable' as well as 'record player'
