Correct. However as noted by lini, it seems the stylus was replaced since mine is clear and not orange.Just to be clear, the cartridge in question is Technics National/Panasonic
That would seem most likely, as the first gen. SL-BD20 typically used to come with that (while the second gen. (with additional suffix D) came with the EPC-P34CS instead). The original needles for that were transpararent orange, though, so the needle on your exemplar was probably already swapped for a compatible replacement some time ago.
Is there a way for me to check which stylus was installed? I don’t recall seeing any letters or numbers on the stylus, but is there something I can look for on that piece to identify it? So that I don’t end up downgrading.
Part of the reason I am looking for a new one is because the needle got a little crooked on this one. It still works but I am afraid of further damage
