technics sl7 vs sl10 PLEASE

There are specific requirements for a cartridge to be strictly T4P compliant. Not every P mount made is T4P compliant, some are adaptations of existing designs which need to be tracked at higher than T4P allowances or heavier than the standard. The Ortofon P mount moving coil and the Grado P mount are examples.

i can adjust tracking up to 1.5g for the grado on the sl7,

the big question is the distance between connectors and stylus !

IMPORTANT EDIT : when i changed original cart on my old sl-bd20 for a grado black,I took it to a pro (yeah,i know i'm lazy, and afraid of ruining my gear) he checked the size and everything, apparently only the weight was changed and he checked the stylus position with a special tool from pro-ject and it was ok,so apparently it will be ok,but i'll check again

RECEIVED TODAY

terrific sound even with a Technics P22 cartridge

I tested it with a 7" 33rpm side B of Quo's Rock and Roll comprising two tracks
(bought for 20p two years ago)
and it erases distortion on track 1 and about 75% on track 2 heard with a Technics Q2 (with Grado Gold cart)
it is amazing !

thanks for those who helped me on this one :-)

edit : I compared the P22 with a Grado black, same size as for the stylus position,so for Grado > Pmount=T4P
