I had a similar set of speakers to those in college (mine were AAL's with a single 12). Very efficient, bright, decent bass, but not much "deep" low end. Cabinet build quality is actually ok, fairly heavy. Stock crossovers are extremely cheap. Probably sold for around 250'ish new around 1990. If you listen to rock, these are your speakers, if you listen to other types, you can find better speakers for the same price.

Oh and, those woofers use a type of laminated foam surround, if you go for them, make sure the foam hasn't gone bad yet.
