vintage aal speakers

I've never owned a pair of aal speakers and I dont no the model of these to look them up. Were aal a descent speaker and would these be a descent first pair? no afil

It's generic department-store stuff. Great if you just want something for your garage, or to give to a college-bound teenager. Generally $40-100. Those look older and may need refoaming, though it looks ok in the picture.

Maybe I could talk him down a little. Would like to have a pair for a personal experience.

I'd pass. I just come across a pair of ADS L620's for $35.00. Their are better speakers out their for less, especially those "sleepers".
