Technics SU-V8

For those who have Technics SU-V8 (also SU-V6 or SU-V7), how do you remove the knobs for 'speaker selector', 'input selector', 'rec selector', and 'phono selector'? I got two SU-V8 amps and I like to clean their knobs.

Those knobs should just pull off unless there is a hole for a set screw in the knob. The knobs on my 8080 were stuck on pretty good, I used rubber kitchen gloves to get enough traction to get them off.

The knobs for Volume, Treble, Bass, Super Bass and Balance are easy as they do not have a hole in which a screw is holding the knob. I have tried a small hex, flat and philips screw driver but the screw does not turn. Any ideas what screw driver I should be using?

If it's hex, I believe it's 0.05".
