Here's some of my pre-cert video collection (have loads more in another room),but would've took me ages to take more pics off.
Also have many more in this room,but they're hidden behind stacks of hi-fi etc,thus very hard to get at.

You must have Cannibal Holocaust (1980) in there somewhere

I used to collect Stephen King, Clive Barker & Ray Garton special editions but sold most of them off.
I still have a 20+ Robert E. Howard book collection from Donald M. Grant Publishers...

...and some other D. Grant, Dark Harvest, Scream Press...

...and many Jim Thompson, some Ray Garton, Harold Lamb...um, maybe I still have sort of a collection

Damn wikipedia, I just found out about a new Dark Tower book on Grant...

Wow that's a lot of crazy movies you have there! Doesn't VHS tape degrade though? How do you keep them from becoming unwatchable?

Holy crap, I have to stay away from wiki.
There's no need to seek out copies of old books anymore with Wikisource & Wikilivres available.
I just found more stuff to waste my time doing while I play my stereo.
I thought I'd get more stuff done this winter with no NHL season

Cheers for the link :thmbsp: have some of those,although a few aren't really to my tastes,don't really care for old art-house flicks (70's exploitation/sexploitation are more my cup of char,especially US and Italian ones).
"Salo" must rate as one of the most depraved art-house flicks,that I've ever seen (even more so in the English language dubbed print than the English subtitled one),somehow English language makes it even more unbearable.

All these are watchable,a lot are from the very dawn of the video age (1978/79),thus are still going strong,hence still provide excellent picture and sound quality.
I always keep them away from outside walls (moisture,condensation etc),also magnetic fields,bright sunlight,personally tend to think they'll even outlast me.

Somewhere in the 1920's or 30's my Great Grandmother collected glassware and plates out of soap boxes. It much later became known as "Depression Glass".

Before I married the first time I rescued what was left of her collection and added to it in the years since.

It may seem a little "weird" but I currently have a collection of just over 100 pieces of Anchor Hocking Princess in amber or sometimes called topaz. I have a few pieces of it that are considered "very rare" and worth more than a few bucks

If I don't find a steady job soon I'm going to be forced to sell it all off to a local antiques dealer just to put a meal on the table.

I've got a collection of vintage Fenwick fiberglas fishing rods. About 140 of them are the FS & FSC models. Along with them I have a couple hundred vintage reels, mostly Shimano Bantam. I use them too.

Do you have any of the green glass?

Good luck in finding a new job! My wife has a small collection of pink glass stuff that others have given her. She hasn't bought any, but has ended up with half a dozen pieces. Her true sickness is Franciscan Desert Rose, which I have helped through the years. She's got well over 150 pieces at this point. One of things I collect is Franciscan Starburst dinnerware, which isn't as common or as typically affordable as the Desert Rose. It reminds me of my childhood, as my great grandmother had a complete set...oh how I wish I had the foresight as a 10 year old to ask for it. LOL

I've got a nice collection of U.S Mint silver and gold collectibles. Commemoratives, Annual proofs, 50 State Quarters, Presidential Dollars, Silver Eagles... ect..

My favorite coin is the 2006 $50 Buffalo 1 oz gold coin. I paid $800 (U.S. Mint price) then and it's worth $1674 now.

I *had* a complete set of that stuff, 8 of each piece, up until the bottom came out of the box. Now I think I have one intact cup. Gave $3.00 for the whole thing at a garage sale. Saw an exhibit of the stuff (priced) at the local library later. (Boo Hoo. Sniff.)
