Its a pretty big difference between the pma600ne and the pma800ne much more than i would have thought Wow!!

The 1600ne has your name on it though, I just know it!
Lol...i know i got 30 days with the 800ne so we will see...the 800ne is a serious lil amp....i must say im suprised how transparent the Ref dbr62's are...

I am amazed at how much gear you try, and like reading about new stuff. Wouldn't mind trying the 1600ne myself.

Then I tell myself, just buy a Benchmark amp and maybe some JBL HDI-1600s....

lol now that you mention it....i might have some Dynaudio's in my sights....a brand that i have spent a lot of time with but haven't owned maybe i should change that. I love reviewing budget audio gear for people, but for my own personal system i've been in the budget ranks longer than i intended....

I've had a 1600ne for 2 years. I can't fault it. Sounds truly excellent and grips my Proacs with aplomb. The phono amp (mm/mc) is not just an add-on, same for the dac.

Stopped looking at other kit - I demo'd it against various Brit amps (Rega and Exposure) and Yamaha. It had something the others didn't, neutrality and more drive mainly.

It was quite a surprise, but I have absolutely no regrets buying it. Recommended - as you can imagine.

Yeah it seems like a badass amp....wish we could get the 2500ne and 11x i dont know what posseses Denon USA to think that we wouldn't want those Boss amps...

BTW.... I'm good at getting people to spend their money... at same time am close to pulling the trigger myself.
