The Grateful Dead - Live Recordings

I was a total Zappa fan, and I still break out some of his quotes, when circumstances call for it. But, no, I never recorded Zappa.
I got pretty put off when he decided that he was going to be the voice of democracy, and force people to register to vote at his concerts, or, he was just going to stand there and taunt, rather than play. I walked away, and never regained any interest.

Got it! Thank you!
Good stuff in both of those Sept 1990 recordings!

And, another gem, from earlier in the MSG run,... by Tom and John

and, for @hjames Heather,... this one has a gem of a BirdSong.

*I did a huge pile of transfers from DAT 1648 to CD-R masters, when the advent of the self recordable CD-R first came into play. At this same time, around 2001, I also had foot reconstructive surgery, and, was in no weight bearing mode, on crutches, for a year. In that time, I fed lots of DAT machine -> CD-R mastering transfers, via a Tascam DA20mkII DAT -> Tas CDR700pro master cd-r burner. At that time, it was wild west, and I was trying to figure out the best way to split the files to limited capacity discs. This was one of those, and, is not the way to do it.
So, it needs to be reloaded and split again, to fix this faux pas.

There are more days in between on the MSG '90 run.
Tom caught the whole run.

But, I'm not sure how much of it has made it to LMA, as they only allow GD-LMA admin. to do any uploading of GD stuff. So, it sort of just leaks its way into the system. Its a bit unfortunate.
Those were the first shows that had Bruce Hornsby filling in for Brent after his passing. Some folk didn't care for that, but I thought he fit well in that often emptied spot. Hes a bit lucky to have lived through the experience, given the way the other keyboardists, well, vacated the position.
