And oh my god my lever is bent out of shape too. You guys kept it from me! You clearly just don't want me to fix this turntable *shaking my head* (obvious sarcasm, you have been great help guys)
Will come back when I find a pair of plyers to bend it to shape

Hey there @Double_Dee !! Looks like you landed on the right planet there as your issue is now revealed! Here's what I would suggest.....after you straighten your stop arm, take another picture of it to show what it should look like as I believe that is what may be of great assistance to others having the same issue. I have been following this adventure of yours from the beginning and aside from the drawing by @ttboy in the other thread that you link to, which does help, there is nothing that shows what the thing should look like when in its proper form. Congratulations amigo.....carry on.
