Last of 2000s. Indie rock, folk. Born in Moscow.
I've been a fan from the very becoming. Early on, she had a unique vocals. I love her bright smile.
The album title video, is beautifully done, shows homage to several surrealists.

Music could be kitschy, hopeful, cheap, to life, home and this one far.

Yeah, I don't know enough about her to have seen that. Nice job though. I should really get more creative with my clues like that.
 
Early 2000, art rock.
This CD edition has a slipcover with dark stripes. When you move it, you can see the guy's eyeballs.
He was in a NYC band formed in 1975. Two of the band were artistics. The bassist was in another band, with sometimes with 3 of her sisters.
