The Name That Album thread

It's Official, the label this band is on only had 2 releases. Band and label from Summertown, TN. This might be harder to solve than I thought.

Stalled. A google search with the above hints should find this. Otherwise NRC can get you there.

I was listening to this on the desktop earlier today. A Manchester band.

Formed in the late '70s, mainly the project of one man with surrounding members coming and going. This one from 2006 and isn't a Factory release.

The Fall meets that clue, except I think the Factory reference means that some of their releases were on Factory, and none are.

“Post-punk band from Greater Manchester, UK. 1976 to 2018.

Mark E. Smith was the lead singer, lyricist, frontman and only constant member of the formation. He died on the morning of Wednesday January 24th, 2018.”

This is a split album, 2 different bands, one per side.
From this decade.
One band formed in California, one from Ohio.

This is the latest from and industrial/post-industrial band that formed in 1980.

Hint: I kind of discovered them from an excellent recent single they released of a cover of one of my favorite 80's power ballads.

His big brother is more famous than he is, overshadowing his career.

Early 70’s release, he is still performing.

A bit of a rush job obscuring the writing on the cover (there was a lot). Older album, the artist might be pretty recognizable to some. It's a good cover though
