Morgen was a psych outfit from Long Island, NY, led by Steve Morgen. Their sole recording was released on Probe Records, a subsidiary of ABC records in 1969. Excellent psych in a power/pop vein. Highly recommended!

i owned this album, A Nice Way of Life, by French proggers Cruciferious for decades. every time i listened to it, i almost, but not quite liked it, and i'd put it away for another 10 years. i found it in the dust and rubble of a halfway house i worked in way back in the day, and held on to it. with the invention of the Web, i eventually discovered it was quite valuable, and sold it on eBay last year for some good coin to a guy in Paris.

naturally, i wish i hadn't sold it

Thought this was obscure when I bought it, but after listening to it (and really liking it) I did some research and found it was the guys from the Yardbirds.

Thanks OP, although I expect that I have barely even begun to sample Puccini's genius. Only so many hours in the day, alas, and it would seem that I have to sleep for at least 6 of them :D

Larry Carlton - Singing/Playing, 1973. This guy is kinda low key and has played on 1000s of songs as a session musician early in his career.

"His guitar work on Steely Dan's "Kid Charlemagne" from their 1976 LP The Royal Scam has been listed as the third best guitar solo on record by Rolling Stone magazine."

This was one is just cool and smooth.

I would've bought this one just for the cover art. Cool!

I recently created my version 2.2 of Scream. A homage of sorts to Edvard Munch.

I found more rarities since the last post in 2013.
These are not only obscure and rare, they are very good.
