The official Music score thread

When I first saw the title to this thread I thought to myself, "Oh cool, I love musical scores."
But then after looking deeper realized these aren't musical scores, which to me are like film soundtracks, Broadway performances, stuff like that.
One of my favorite musical scores is the soundtrack to Cat People (David Bowie - Putting Out The Fire).
I soon realized the OP meant "scores" like scoring drugs. My bad. lol

Back in September of last year I purchased a ReVox A77MKII 7.5/15ips 2 track machine. As soon as I get my Roberts 800X back the ReVox is going in for a refurb. Anyway yesterday I went to a record show on Long Island and look what I found for the princely sum of $5 sitting all by it's lonesome self. No Discogs listing for this 2 track version. I don't think I've ever even seen a commercial 2 track reel tape in person before.
Very interesting mail call today. This is what appears to be Samira Tewfik's earliest documented record. "God's Name on You Dalanoa Pt. 1 & 2" according to Google translate. Discogs states that Baidaphon releases "Made in Switzerland" are from the WWII years. I have read one comment that Swiss made discs continued into the 1950's. The earliest dated record by this artist on Discogs is 1958. Her voice sounds younger on this shellac.
The Discogs entry for this record shows a blue label with what appears to be B side labels on both sides [one is worn]. It lists the catalog number as BB100901-1/2 and photo evidence reveals BB100901 on both matrices. I panicked at first when I realized this copy that arrived today has BB100900-1 on the A side label! I mean I can't read Arabic, I gotta go by numbers! The younger sounding voice and the wrong number got me thinking "wrong record!" and I shot off a message to the seller in haste.
It appears that the Discogs listing is in fact a misspress with Part 2 on both sides. Upon closer inspection my copy is BB100900-1 on the A side label with BB100900 matrice and BB100901-2 on the B side label with BB100901 matrice. It is the same song with some differences from side to side.
So I started out upset thinking I had the wrong record but as it turns out I have the better correct version of the right record! Woo-flippin'-hoo!

Surprised to find these at Goodwill. All VG or better. A guy there had a small stack picked out for himself just as I got there. I wonder what I missed? I actually already have many of these but I now have a second home where I’d like to keep a smaller selection of records I like.

Sorry for photo overload. Part of the lps which seller had. Went to buy a Cambridge Azur 540c cd player. Ended up with 100 lps, a Cambridge Azur 540a integrated, the cd player, a Technics Sl-1700 turntable, Onkyo Tuner, brand new Project mm phono preamp, new Discwasher D4 record cleaner, Kef C-40 speakers, Boston Acoustics Hd7 and A-40 speakers. 300.00 dollars out the door.

Local Salvation Army has been putting out bits of a large blues CD collection. I've purchased about 60 so far. Tons of interesting stuff.

30 CDs for $3
The two columns in the center with Madonna are all Japanese CD issues.
There were also a bunch of Indonesian and Thai CDs and DVDs.
Was looking around and noticed they had DVDs for 10 for $1 too.
I don't have a tv, but couldn't resist. Hopefully they will work on my laptop.
If not, they had a Sony DVD/CD player, with remote and all the cables for $15.
50 Western Classic Movie Pack, 12 DVDs for $1. Yee-haw!
Battlestar Galactica 5 DVDs, Complete Season One for $0.50.
My old girl friend mentioned she loved the series. I'd never seen it.
Incidentally it's the old girl friend's birthday tomorrow.
The DVDs came with a trading card with Tricia Helfer on it. I recognized her.
