Notes: This fantastic album features David playing live with his "large band".
It seems that everyone is a multi-instrumentalist with chops to spare.
Recorded live at various venues during 1979 this collection of tunes smokes the grooves.
A few tunes feature Garth Hudson of The Band.
Bromberg seems to cycle between touring, writing and then disappearing for years at a time to create fine wooden instruments.
If it has string he can play it.
Well saying "play it" isn't really giving him his due; the man can make the instrument sing, talk, squawk and purr.
If you ever have the chance to see him, in any musical configuration, don't pass it up.

It has a live Whippin' Post on it that's pretty good.
It was better at Winter Island in Salem, Mass that tour.
We snuck in. Anyone else ever sneak into a concert on an island?

No, this album is awesome. 1964, Guest Star label records. Not commonly found, my friend.
And found it was.
One of my friends gave me a pile of records someone had left next to a building at the town dump.
They were mostly decent condition kids, Hawaiian & Christmas records.
Mr. Flowers' live record was in the pile.
It's looks almost perfect and sounds mint :tresbon:
