Had to play 2 live songs, which comes close to an hour of music. I let Dream roll into Mississippi Queen, so 3 songs it ended up being. After this little musical treat, the world was a better place. :)

This is one of an excellent set of CDs of live performances recorded live on the air at WDET in Detroit. I have them all and find they marvelous.

Discipline Global Mobile - DGM0013 (2000)

The live version of The ConstruKction Of Light on this always gets me, I played it twice in a row just to give it the attention I feel it deserves. Two things really stand out for me on this version, how strong Trey Gunn's bass lines on the Warr guitar are - particularly how they help sweep the tune along, and Pat Mastelotto's playing. His ability to combine traditional drums with deftly triggered electronics and samples provides both the necessary rhythmic underpinning and a shimmering halo of percussive effects that embellish this amazing piece of music.
