Might as well plug some Rush in here. :D Simply phenomenal live (seem them 7 times so far, will see them at least twice this summer and then there's next summer probably as well...keep in mind I was only 16 in '93 so I haven't had the ability to see them--or other--acts in other decades besides the 90's and 00's like some lucky souls in here have, but I've seen them every time they've come to town so far).

Anyway, I have all of their live albums and dvd/cd's and have enjoyed them all immensely for years:

All The World's A Stage - 1976

My favorite? Just like a Rush album that's impossible to decide, each are great in their own way. The ones I listen to the most are Exit, Rio, R30, and SnA Live. SnA Live probably has the best SQ of all of them, and Rush in Rio the best performance (they were just on fire after their hiatus due to Neil's personal losses). All are great imo. :yes:

Larry Coryell Live at the Village Gate - impressive but not as impressive as..

Larry Coryell European Impressions ~Live at Montreaux - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!! absolutely amazing guitar playing

Frank Sinatra Live at the Sands - IMO his best album

Just out of curiosity, is this all about "live" recordings that we are listening to right now, or simply a compendium of what "live" recordings we like? Since the title says "Playlist" I'll only post live albums that I'm actually listening to. That's just me. Currently:

John Lee Hooker - Live at the Cafe Au Go-Go (and Soledad Prison)

Great version of "I'm Bad Like Jesse James" with Muddy Waters and his back up band playing along.

IIRC these were issued as 2 separate albums which I owned at one time. Sadly I lost my entire blues collection in the mid 70's during a move. 500+ albums stolen. Now that will give you the blues!

The Cafe Au Go-Go also had a fine live album from the Blues Project recorded there.

Hey Ausjoe, sorry to hear about the theft of your blues collection. Sounds like it was pretty impressive collection, especially the John Lee Hooker.
