Damn, that is sad :sigh:

I'll have to watch some Batman reruns this weekend.

PS: Always did want one of those green suits :saywhat:

I saw this posted elsewhere, with the comment "Too bad he didn't take Jim Carrey with him." I laughed. Loudly.

Damn! That's a shame, but I'm happy he's not suffering anymore. Sounds like it's been tough for him right here at the end. Wonder how many kids were SERIOUSLY warped like I was- by "The Riddler"?-Sandy G.

The most amazing part of the Academy Awards is when they show pictures and list the actors that died during the previous year. Year after year there's always so many!! When I think back over the last 20 years or so, I can't believe there are any of the great ones left.

Seems like nobody over the age of 27 is working in Hollywood any more.

Frank Gorshin was a comedian and impressionist (quite a good one) even before his "Riddler" days.

Speaking of death :-( The last post reminded me that, to this day, my parents (well, now just my father) STILL get the World Book Encyclopedia year book -- every year since 1966. Why does he still get it? We get together, usually in the summer, and read the "Deaths of Notable Persons" section, which we call "Famous Dead People"! Now this may sound really weird (most likely because it is), but we always discover people who died the past year that we didn't know (and/or had forgotten) had died. There are also always some folks listed there whose claim to fame is esoteric, bizarre, or funny. It's a family bonding experience (believe it or not).

Frank'll be in the next one...

I worked for quite a while at the Norwalk, Ct. Home Depot. We had a few celebs come through. So I am bsing with my buddy in plumbing and this guy comes up- Frank's lookin for a widget. Considering I knew nothing about plumbing, my bud wisked him off. What was kinda remarkable was his gaze: as best I could describe it he seemed to be focusing miles down the road, even though he was looking right at you.
