Damn shame. A fine actor.
RIP, Mr. Graves.

[spaceman]

R.I.P. :sigh: I had no idea he was James Arness's brother. I can see it now, but never would have thought about it, by their names.

[70salesguy]

Did you know that he and James Arness of Gunsmoke were brothers?

I always enjoyed Mission Impossible as a young fellow. Peter Graves had a class air about him as well as Barbara Bain. Even as a kid, you could tell they were "class acts"!

Mr. Phelps, your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to Rest in Peace knowing that you brought a lot of enjoyment to your audience.

[Cleve]

Terrible news - Peter Graves was staple of 50s and 60s sci-fi movies. RIP, Peter!

[BMWCCA]

Are you all just too young to remember him as Joey's dad in Fury? That's how I thought of him when he turned up on MI.

Not a really a great actor, but a compelling character actor. And he seemed to be a genuinely nice guy.

[chadnliz]

R.I.P. and thanks

[toxcrusadr]

Aww, shucks. I think I have the MI theme around here someplace, have to give it a spin in Mr. Graves' honor. RIP.

[EchoWars]

RIP Capt. Oveur.

[kcollins4]

RIP Peter. One of the most surprising , and funniest lines from Airplane..."Joey, ever seen a grown man naked?"
