Then there's folk like me, who can solder my own way out of trouble, but would be hard pressed to take responsibility for someone else's gear. Also, being a bit of a pack rat I seldom let one of my baby's go after it's been under the knife here.
PS ... I assUme anyone who takes any advice I give here also has their insurance paid up ...
I think there's a lot of folks here that would fall under this category.
I'm excellent at soldering, I only wish a lot of the times, I knew why I was doing it.
My specialty is replacing caps because they are old, I need to get better at finding the ones that need to be replaced because they are old, if that makes any sense..
