Whatever meter you get you might want to investigate REW (Room Equalization Wizard) software. It's available as a free download from www.hometheatershck.com . It works very well, the learning curve isn't to steep and there is plenty of support at HTShack.

naw, i am leaving em like they are,you seen me i aint perfect neither but hey you get what you get no eye candy but ohhh boy lotsa ear candy.honestly though man i really see nothing wrong and the chip on the corner i think that will eventually blend back in.no i am not a perfectionist, i got exactly what i wanted.and it is going to keep me at bay for a while.my wife is going to think i am sick or having a affair(well i guess i am with my speakers LOL)
 
i better get going and get some work done before she comes home from school,but my getting a AK subscription and getting these speakers have been a very nice thing to happen to me i am tankful for all of my life and all the good people i know,thats the best way i can say it.
 
As a happy a/d/s/ owner of B8 bookshelf loudspeakers, I can tell you you'll definitely enjoy those speakers for many, MANY more years. Their imaging is unbelievable and the crisp, accurate bass is stunning.

WOW i dont have that many bookshelves ,but i have a quantity.yes i love the L710's after just 1 day of listening, starting out today with Suzanne Ciani~The Velocity of Love, i think i have them positioned just right.and at around 30" off the floor.i have not found any flaws so far it reproduces the music very nicely.they fill the space with fullness and clarity.i know there are better examples,but i cant imagine some thing being nicer sounding.i was under the impression that 2 ways had better imaging and sound from my experience with the speakers i have.but i was wrong these are the only 3ways i have that sound balanced and correct.
