Things you don't see anymore.

A friend of mine were in a '60 something Buick on Highway 17 in Myrtle Beach S.C. and I swear I saw the bar leave the speed range and go into the radio tuner bars!!

If it was powered by a "Super Wildcat" engine (dual 4 barrel 401), I could almost believe that. :D

Regards,
Gordon.

Heck, I still use one of these along with an outdoor clothesline on sunny days. In fact, I like it better than the automatic, especially for really dirty jeans.View attachment 3136559
Had one of those at the car dealership I used to work at--great for rinsing and wringing chamois. When I was a kid, my Mom thought she'd won the Irish Sweepstakes (remember THOSE?) when Dad showed up with a Dexter Twin Tub washer. Just the thing for dealing with 5 kids:)

Our 1950s doppelganger family had a Dexter in the basement, it was still there when she passed a few years ago along with their 1950s RCA console 21" B/W TV.
