cats can mess dogs up ...sometimes
my awesome deaf as a board white cat Gabriel (RIP) was a great big monster of a cat pushing 20lbs and very large for a house cat (not fat..just massively bigger than most cats)
side note the cat haaaated my little brother ..who like a geninus thought it was funny to sneak up on him (since he was deaf) and spin him down my parents hardwood floors.. the cat had to be kept out of my brother's room at all times because if he could get inside it the cat would destroy as much of my brothers stuff as he could (he wouldn't harm anything else in the house).
anyways one day my parents neighbors had their German Sheppard get loose and i heard it barking and saw it running towards my cat, in a panic I dropped what i was doing and rushed out to aid my cat, turns out my cat had this covered he stood his ground and as the dog neared he reached out and swiped the dogs nose (cut the dog's nose pretty good actually) one time .. the dog yelped turned tail and ran home .
That dog didn't ever come near our yard again for years and years and years.. lol...

I like dogs more than cats but this kitty actually deserves two threads in this forum...
