Wow, this is one ugly stereo system! No affiliation.
It's available in Phoenix if you're interested. :yuck:

It is hard to look at that system. Hurts my eyes. What were the designers thinking?

[TheX]

Holy crap, that's awful.

[uenjoymyself]

Holy crap, that's awful.

You know you want it! Who needs a volume knob anyway!

[janikphoto]

That's pretty standard fair for what's being sold today... sadly.

[jbrainey]

Aw yeah! The ole "Skull Face" system. No way that sits on a table in my house. I bet it's even creepier at night.

There is a thread on this site The most outrageous looking systems. Something to that efect, this needs to be posted there.

News Flash found it.

What is the flashiest, most obnoxious looking receiver/amp of the 80s/early 90s?

It would just about be worth it to put it on my front porch and us it play creepy Halloween music.

And illuminate the front of it with creepy Halloween colored lights.

I'm still trying to figure out what planet it's from.:yuck:

[jhoyt]

I think I saw one of those in the Star Wars "cantina" scene.

350 watt stereo for $50...

What power rating are they using.....

[chelvis]

This thing was inspired by HR Giger

[Brian]

Maybe a hood ornament to go between the longhorn ornament on the Caddy in "As Time Goes By".

I thought maybe it was just me ... I couldn't look at it for more than a couple seconds without feeling ... weird.

[atarione]

thing makes the horrid Awia shelf system i had in the 90s look pretty nice by comparison... man what a piece of crud that awia was however..

[atarione]

i honestly think I would just give that thing to g/w or set it just make a youtube video of taking bats to it (office space style) and hope it went viral and I made some money of the ad revenue or whatever.

that thing needs to be destroyed however... there I said it....
