This is the mother of all cd players!!!

CDs death is imminent, making the AMR and all other CDPs useless. :D

Hmmmm, they said the same about Vinyl so I dont take much stock in that. Even if they die off there will always be millions of discs in collections and those who strive to reproduce them in a hi-fi way thus the market will still thrive if even on a small scale and hi-fi is very use to that niche.

One thing I cannot stand about the AMR is the labeling on the buttons. Can not tell you how many times i hit the wrong button only to turn the damn thing off. Touchy ass buttons too. Then you have to wait several minutes for it to power back up.

I wont buy used digital unless the factory will warrant it for non original owners.

I thought the thread was deleated for some reason???

I had originally posted in another forum....I think the nak stuff is the best looking by far as is a NAK PA-7 amp and I am sure it sounds great. I was surprised to read the poster of his ( Tower Boss ) that it was attained for less than $3K ( I forget where I read that ) But what a deal...The only thing that would worry me is parts as they are older now. Still a collectors item IMO as there were only about 200 made...every time I see them for sale they are coming out of Japan or Hong Kong and waaay out of my price league unfortunatly. I guess I'll have to be happy with my modded Denon :tears:

Nice but.. are Vizio displays considered to be High End?

On the Vizio - I love mine. Looks a lot better than my brothers Sony he paid $2k for and better than my daughters brand new Panasonic Plasma.. Maybe it's my satellite as the others are using Fios but I think the Vizio is much better on HD tv than the other 2 I mentioned, and I got a great deal.

TB - that is one VERY nice setup.

Cheers,

Bob
