Thorens TD-145 Headshell Issue

Hi guys, having a very stupid issue that I hoped somebody here could resolve!

Just got a Thorens TD-145 mkII from craigslist which I already love. One issue: in changing cartridges, the little strip of metal on the headshell that says "Thorens" popped off. I've spent a really long time trying to figure out how to put it back together and I can't do it.

Is there anybody familiar with this particular construction who can help me?

Welcome to AK! I think I know what your talking about as I’ve owned that table before but if you could post some pictures it would help.

Pictures attached. Seems like this design is a lot less common than the classic black plastic

Same thing happened to me. Couldn't get it back on. Left it off. Still sounds great.

Sure you can! Unless you wanna deal with the microscopic tabs that keep it clinged to the finger lift, a droplet of contact cement would do the trick and keep the little bugger in place. :)
