Thorens TD 160 dust cover hinge help needed

I have a fairly beat up TD 160 that works well, but is cosmetically challenged. When I got it, the dust cover was cracked around the hinge. The hinges were screws with washers. Pretty lame. I finally got some of those metal pieces that fit over the original plastic to provide a more solid hinge contact and then some real hinge pins. However, when I try to fit the dust cover onto the pins, they don't fit properly. My guess is that someone put this together after the fact and the pins are in the wrong place. I would be very grateful if someone could measure exactly where the pins are supposed to fit and let me know. I was reasonably careful gluing on the metal thingies, so I don't think they are the problem.

TIA

You can level the dust cover on the plinth with the plexiglass ledge resting on the aluminum strip and mark the pin locations with a sharpie through the slots. The stock pin hinges holes should be there already.

Of course! Thanks for waking me up. I think this isolation is getting to my head.
