Thread Popularity

No offence to the thread starters, but some threads about knobs or the latest "scroe" found on the curb go on for pages and pages.

And other audio/music/enjoyment based threads are just ignored.

No offense, but maybe knobs or curb find scroes are more interesting to people than what you are interested in.

Oh, and it looks like you got what you were looking for, 3 pages and growing. Unfortunately you had to reference "scroes" and dumpster diving to do it. I think we all know how this is going to go.

Related to this topic is how quickly a thread can die. It’ll be going along at a nice clip, and then BAM! Nothing. A dry well...dust in the wind....

I don't think anybody will respond to a boring thread just because of who started it. Often the ones that generate the most traffic involve a generous dash of controversy. People see a statement with which they vehemently disagree (or agree) and they can't help but chime in.

And nothing can revive it. Not a “bump.” Not song lyrics. Not even “in before the lock.” Go figure.

You'll probably want to delete #49 and #50 too, as neither will make a lot of sense with the other posts deleted.

Then again, same thing could probably be said of the rest of the posts here as well, either before or after, and even during?

... and now, ladies and germs, for your edification and pleasure tonight, we bring you "The Evolution of a Popular Thread" (drumroll please)

If you over cook sprouts, steam them for a few minutes and dip them in ranch dressing...

With pork chops fried in coconut oil !!
