one out of four aint bad, eh beatcomber? i've have the 'god rest ye merry jazzman' for a number of years and have recently played it. i dont have the others but routinely look in teh xmas records (which in off season sell for low prices i have found).

i will keep an eye out for "Mr. Santa's Boogie" and i am not sure i have ever seen a copy.

now i think i shall torture my kids who dont even like xmas music during the season. heheheheh.

btw-"vinyls" is ok with me as long as they dont put-VINYL'S!

"Hipster" or not, "Vinyls" sounds dumb to me. I take an equally dim view on tattoos, piercings, purple hair, guys wearing earrings, and the pants-falling-down-underwear-showing look.

Guess I'm just an old fogey.
 
old fogey--yup, i wuz thinkin that when i read those words.

i told my daughters that if they came home with any unauthorized piercings that i would RIP them out.
 
Those Goodyear LPs were some of the best Christmas LPs ever issued. Volume FIVE and SIX were IMHO perhaps the best two of the series. I have most of them, and a few were not so great... but regardless, they are classics and if one should run across them (very common in the US) by all means snatch them up if they are in NM/M shape. (esp. Vol. 5/6!!)

Richard Tucker belts out Adeste Fidelis like Ive never heard since...

I will never get used to vinyls or ever think of using it to describe a record. And yes it is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me too. :yuck:
