Hi all,
My current system consists of an Arcam a65, Technics 1200 mkII w/Shure V15 III and a pair of Mission 780 Argonauts. Used primarily for vinyl. My Missions sound great but I know they're old and probably had better days. They were covered in dust and grime when I acquired them. They were sitting in garage that was used as a shop of sorts. And I've been bitten by the upgrade bug.
There are a pair of Tannoy 609's available locally via Craigslist for $480. Would the 609's provide an upgrade in sound and is that a fair price? I know "upgrade" is a relative term. Hoping someone out there has heard both.
