This is your property and it is actually signed by Heino and that woman?
It all started while still living in the US. I read a book called Incredibly Strange Music Vol. I. Jello Biafra wrote about Heino and I became a fan without hearing him. Years later I was living in the Czech Republic visiting my Czech record store owner friend and his German wife in Prague when I found my first Heino record. When the shop closed and his wife picked us up to go out to the pub she asked me what I bought and I passed her my bag. She gasped when she saw Herr Heino in my stack. She was horrified because Heino to her was the epitome of evil.

This began a fun bickering back and forth between us over the glorious old German volkmusik. On a trip back to Germany my friend picked up about 25 Heino albums for me and gave them to me as a present when they returned. I was so happy! When I asked "how much do I owe" his wife quipped in her lovely Teutonic accent "don't vorry, ve find them on thee side of ze road in the garbage!"

On another trip back they stopped by Heino's bakery and got me that signed picture.

The free box of records was given to me when we visited for New Year's Eve. On New Year's Eve my wife,my sister-in-law, my friend's wife and her friend visiting from Germany went out for the day and my friend and I were supposed to have dinner ready by 5:00PM. When the ladies arrived my friend and I were totally plastered, blasting Heino and the dinner wasn't ready. Good times.

I also have a signed original pressing of his first album which I acquired from an AKer many, many years ago. Heino is the second most represented artist in my collection.

Today I found a cool German postcard record. It says it's "Rock". I'll post scans and a sound clip shortly.

I don't have a lot of pix but I am very fond of Silbermond, Juli, Ich+Ich, Christina Stürmer, Luxuslärm, Glasperlenspiel.
I was able to get a dozen CDs for dirt cheap from a great Discogs dealer in Germany. I just can't find anyone selling these artists in the States.
If it weren't for being able to stream Antenne Bayern, I'd never have known about them.
